Meet Adam Rozanek, CPA

Adam Rozanek, CPA, is the founder of Rozanek Associates LLC and brings over a decade of experience specializing in real estate, fund accounting, fair value reporting, and financial statement preparation. Adam has built his career within some of the most respected firms in the industry, including public accounting firms (RSM + KPMG) and was a controller for a real estate company. Throughout his career he supported clients with complex real estate portfolios and multi-layered fund structures.

Adam has worked cross a wide range of investment types—including office, residential, retail, industrial, hotels, marinas, senior living, self-storage, and student housing. His work included preparing financial statements, evaluating and validating Level 3 valuation methodologies, reviewing waterfall and carried interest calculations (both American and European structures), and ensuring compliance with ASC 820 and ASC 946. 

During his time as a Controller, Adam oversaw the full financial reporting cycle: from property-level accounting through fund-level consolidations. He worked closely with third-party accounting teams, fund administrators, and tax professionals to ensure timely and accurate GAAP reporting, REIT compliance, and completion of external audits. Adam also drafted technical accounting memos and played an integral role in financial reporting decisions. 

Today, Adam brings this robust background to Rozanek Associates LLC, offering clients a rare blend of technical expertise, hands-on real estate experience, and a deep understanding of fund structures, valuation methodologies, and property-level operations.
